Hey what's up y'all!!   The A2A Team kicked some butt at the 2010 Muddy Buddy!   Jay and I placed in the top 10 of our division, Shawn and Marcus in the top 5 and got medals!   Carrie took 3rd overall in the Mud Run and 1st in her division!!!   I just want to say to all of you who are out there suffering"Join A2A we are a family that takes care of each other!!!!  We love each other with pure and forgiving love!"   The Gurule's who are not in recovery but who have become great friends, had the best costumes and Suzi, Mel, Mark, Gwen, Marshal, and Justin all did great.  Also the Fashion Hotline Team is not in recovery, but are an inspiration to families everywhere!  I thank God for putting all these people in our lives!!   Last but not least my brother Jason and his wife Ang did awesome, and so did my wife Sheena.  Mel's brother Marshal sent me a quote that stated "Failures do what is stress releiving and winners do what is goal achieving!" I like this, just thought I'd share that.

For those of you who have never done the incline.  It is hard carzy elevation, and the A2A Team did it!

Hello sorry I have been busy with school, but the triathlon is right around the corner so everyone get in signed up!!   Here is a pic of Jay rep'n A2A at the San Diego Marathon!!  This Sat. we are running at 7:30am at Stem Beach meet at the dog track!!

Quote What a weekend the A2A team Carrie, Shawn and Melonie placed 7th at the tirathlon in cold wheather and wind I place in the top 50 and Sheena finished on a mtn. bike.  She was one of two mtn. bike finishers at the triathlon.  Then the very next day after all that Carrie won the overall 10k run at the Cinco race Shawn took first in his division I placed 3rd in my division Paul joined us and ran under 50 min.  Sheena and Mel ran the 5k and killed it!!  Also thanks to Marie for running A2A while we were gone for the weekend!!

5 year

All who know me know I glue my sobriety chips to my grandma's grave.  Here are pics of my chips including my new 5 year chip.  I read this story where a woman was mourning the death of her son.   She told a monk of her sorrows, the monk asked "Did you mourn him before he was born?".   The woman replied "No!"  The monk then stated "Then why mourn him now he just went back to where he came from."  I know my grandma is home watching me!!!  Thanks to all for a great birthday!!!  Rob

Spank Blazing Well it's been a year!!  Thank you to all who have supported us in our progam Sheena and I are celebrating our 5yr. sober b-day and Maria is coming up on a year.  Austin has been with us since the begining has also had much to celebrate this year also.   Shawn has been our head coach and A2A would not have had it's victories without him.   Shawn, Maria, Austin, P???, Sheena, Carrie, Melonie, Rayden and all the rest of the A2A crew has made me proud!  Wed. when I go to glue my sobriety chip on my grandma's grave I will ask her to thank God for putting all of you in my life!!   Also thanks to my brother Jason his family and my mom and dad for thier support.   Last but not least thank you to Cheryl and the Prevention team at work for dealing with my mood swings and insane schedule!!   This year I have had several friends pass away and as deep as that hurts I look forward to a new year of new begginings sobriety and sanity!!   Bless all of you, and much love!!  Let's have another great year and change lives!!

Tri in May

Ok we are taking a team to the triathlon on May 1 at the Air Force Academy.   Sheena and I are going to do the whole race.  Shawn, Carrie and Melonie are doing the relay anyone else who wants to build a team or do the whole race let me know!!!!  Wish us luck!!

The Tri is over stay tuned for pics.  Also everyone did great!   I won the overall race and no it wasn't fixed!!  Shawn won his division and Rae Dawn and Sheena and Maria did great.   A2A  showed everyone what a strong mind can achieve, because most of us didn't train for this.  Thanks to PAC and everyone who participated.
